I have used this in my 2 wire heating system to add "C" wire to the Nest Thermostat power supply. Wire, he was temperamental, especially when the nest often needed warmth. Because the Nest is only powered by two wires when the stove is NOT in need of heat, the Nest becomes unstable if the heater is turned on frequently and the Nest is not getting enough power. This little relay solved the problem. By hooking it up to the 24V AC transformer in the oven and cutting one of the wires to the "C" connector in the nest, my nest now always has power, even when the oven calls for heat. Has worked flawlessly all winter. No noticeable noise other than a very slight "click" when turning on, but it happens at the same time as the other oven relay clicks, so it's barely noticeable. Result. When you need to add a "C" wire to a 2 wire heating system, it works like a charm!
