I haven't had a good grill brush for years. When I last had it, it was a steel brush on the end of a wooden handle. Now that I have a good wood pellet grill with a coated griddle, I don't really need anything super hard on the surface. Those stiff, non-metallic bristles will do the job just fine, and I believe the claim is that they're less likely to hit your grill than a metal brush. Another nice feature is that it comes with an extra spare bristle head. This way you don't have to replace the whole brush, only the bristles when you've worn out the ones on the brush. CLEVER! I like the built in hook at the end of the handle that makes it easy to store the brush on the side of the grill. Perfect. The length of the brush is just enough to put a little effort and effort on the grill. However, do not attempt to clean a hot grill. I wouldn't trust those plastic bristles not to melt and it would be a mess! Clean the grill before lighting it. An all-weather plastic handle will last until the next Ice Age, while a typical wooden-handled brush won't last as long. much more for a quality grill brush with a brand name like Farberware. To get not only a brush but also a replacement brush head at this price is a real surprise. Lightweight 5 star product. Buy with confidence!
