It's working fine so far.

I use a stainless steel brush and it works for me. However, this allows you to apply more pressure. A bristle brush, if you use too much force, the bristles will bend and fall out even faster. This brush allows you to apply more pressure, so cleaning goes a little faster. If you have a ceramic coated grill or rather shallow grill grates, there is also a higher risk of bristles laying on your hob. when they fall off the brush. I only have round stainless steel rods so the chances are much lower,

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Easy to maintain

WARNING: This product page contains a number of different types of Farberware BBQ grill brushes and the reviews provided may relate to any of these 6 products. I'm looking at a nylon brush and a metal brush with a plastic handle. The metal mesh brush works great but doesn't last long. This is the one I really wanted because I had one before and loved it. Instead, I received two bottles of medium-viscosity ultrasonic fluid (no kidding). The bottles leaked, but luckily they were in a plastic bag.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Fast OK

These nylon bristles should only be used on the COLD Grill

. This review is for the Farberware 5261919 Large Grill Brush with Replaceable Head. I use a lot of grill brushes as we grill year round. This particular grill brush has a very nice ergonomic handle with finger grooves and a textured thumb area, as well as a long, curved neck. The handle design is one of the best I've seen. There is also a hook at the end of the handle for attaching to the grill or for lifting the grill grate. The brush head itself has a metal scraper to loosen the touch points

Pros
  • Wide Range

  • Large and Bulky

Good features, good brand, great price!

I haven't had a good grill brush for years. When I last had it, it was a steel brush on the end of a wooden handle. Now that I have a good wood pellet grill with a coated griddle, I don't really need anything super hard on the surface. Those stiff, non-metallic bristles will do the job just fine, and I believe the claim is that they're less likely to hit your grill than a metal brush. Another nice feature is that it comes with an extra spare bristle head. This way you don't have to replace the…

The only kind I use

This review is for the "Double Grill Brush With Handle". Bristle brushes do the job well, but like the other reviewer, I had metal bristles in my hamburger and it hit me really hard. On this, as they say, and ended. I like non-metallic cleaners with green pads, but they don't last long. Until we develop some kind of laser cleaning method, these dish pad cleaners will be the best and safest. Yes, it's metal, and if you hit it on the edge of something it will stretch out a little. But I've never…

The best grill brush!

Farberware 5275075 Double Grill Brush with Handle, 1 pc, Black As much as I love a BBQ grill, [who doesn't love a freshly grilled piece of steak?] neck to clean it every time. And you have to stay awake to clean your grill or the grill sticks will get so covered in burnt dirt you won't want to use them anymore. After an accident with a cheap name brand wire brush [finding a wire in a hamburger] we gave up on wire grill brushes. Meet Farberware Grill Brush with Brillo Type Cleaner. Having moved…
