I really hope I never have to test this, which means I hope my antenna never gets struck by lightning. However, I'm happy to have included it in my antenna setup anyway. I connected it to my antenna a long time ago. As far as I could tell, this didn't affect the performance of the antenna. Neither impedance nor SWR have changed.
