So here it is: As seen in the picture, the handle has been machined crookedly, making it a bit difficult to apply the same pressure around the perimeter to get an equally thick hamburger. It's not that I screwed the handle wrong. Yes, the press comes in parts that require you to screw in the handle. The metal alloy itself is fine and easy to clean. This press makes a 1/4 pound burger. In summary, I would buy a different press if I were you. If you've read this far, I'll tell you the secret formula that makes burgers taste like filet mignon. Use the following spice formula: 1/2 tsp. kosher salt 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. Onion powder 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 1/2 tsp. ground sage 1/2 tsp. Ground beef broth 1 tsp. these formulas YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW GOOD BURGERS ARE!
