2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Duramax. This completely eliminated steering wheel/pillar noise at low speeds. Make sure you have a 15mm socket, lube and lots of inappropriate words to install this part. The process is extremely simple, but it takes patience and nothing less than brute force to install a new bearing on your steering column. Be sure to lubricate both the inside and outside of the bearing and the steering column shaft before attempting to install a new part. You will thank me later. Also note that it is inserted in a specific way. In the attached photo the new part is installed correctly and this is what it should look like when you are finished.
