Okay, I know none of us like swimwear. But listen to me. I was on vacation in Iceland and refused to go in geothermal pools because I really hate swimwear. I actually sat and watched everyone enjoying the icy, crystal blue water, watched the steam rise from the heated pool while I shivered and drowned my sorrows in wine. Anyway, at least I didn't have to wear a bathing suit. I ordered this swimsuit because I want to swim - so I said so. I want to get in the water instead of pretending I'm scared of the water because I'm actually scared of my stomach and thighs. This costume is not expensive but is similar in design to several more expensive brands. And it feels good - really! That looks good too. I put it on and walked around the house and I felt. Big. Not afraid. I put it in my bag, went to the lake and put it on there too. And also. It was nice. I jumped. The water is good. The beach is good. feel fearless OK. So this suit holds my stomach and doesn't make my hips look nice, but it also feels comfortable and that's important. Most importantly, it has helped me feel a little more comfortable in my own skin - and I can finally swim.
