I installed this in the dressing room. I read reviews about it being dark but figured it wouldn't make much of a difference in a closet. It replaced a disgusting 60W(Eq.) single bulb dome. Well, this one looks a lot prettier. The problem is that the other reviews are correct that it is very dark. It's advertised as 1100 lumens but it's no more than 700 at best. Quality 60w bulbs give 800-850 and they're a lot brighter. It just saves the light being more even so it looks better. I decided to keep it but it was very close to returning it. The device has three light temperatures: 3000k, 4000k and 5000k. I stopped at 4000k. I think this is partly because the device has two rows of colored LEDs. 3000k glows with just one color and is even dimmer. 5000k lights brighter LEDs. 4000k mixes the two and gives better light and is brighter (double the number of LEDs lit). To be honest at $55 it's not worth it due to the low light. At best, it's worth a $30 light fixture. If it were indeed brighter and the three color temperatures were the same in terms of light output, then it could be worth the money. Conclusion: Unless you have a small space I don't recommend this light, but neither is it bad for me to bring it back as it has an aesthetically pleasing design and was bright enough.
