Great tech support is important

tl/dr; Excellent (and patient) tech support got me up and running again after a few false starts. I have a standard drive and since my laptop doesn't have a CD drive, I copied the files from my desktop to my laptop. The first problem was that I couldn't connect to the machine. I received a popup saying an important update is required and there was no way to dismiss the popup. An email to technical support received a response within minutes with a recommendation to reinstall. Then another problem arose. This problem consisted in the fact that when connected to the car, some options, including the UTILITY function, were not available. This was exactly the feature I was looking for as I want to add another remote control and adjust windows and lighting times. Another email sent and within minutes they had a link to another version of Techstream. I thought that I was free at home at that moment, but in the end I couldn't extract the archive. My RAR extractor hung about halfway. Another email and they asked me to set up Teamviewer so they can remotely install the new version of Techstream. I know there have been comments about teamviewer=malware, but that's not always the case. I am my family's "technical support" and have been using Teamviewer for years to remotely manage/maintain my family's computers. This is not a tool. This is how it is used. Anyway, Teamviewer was already installed and I know what to do, so I tracked their actions keypress by keypress. You have done the necessary work and no more. There was no snooping around or unnecessary reconfiguration of computer settings. Techstream now works exactly as it should. call me happy
