Review on 57 6014 FIPK Performance Intake System by Michael Schwegman

This cold air intake system works like a champ! I installed this on my 2006 Nissan Xterra and love the sound the engine makes when installed. Installation was very easy and fun. I don't have much experience with cars but the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I had no trouble installing this myself. As for the supposed MPG improvement, I haven't found any improvement. I average about 16-17 mpg city and highway. When I really step on the gas, my Xterra sounds awesome, but it's killer for my gas. I accelerated hard after most of the stops because I liked the sound, I got 11mpg. As long as I don't hit it while accelerating, I always get decent gas mileage.
