The description says it only activates when reverse gear is engaged. That's not true - every time I toggle between "park and drive" or "drive and park" it turns blue and stays on for about 10 seconds which is not safe for night driving! I was hoping to replace an old monitor (Esky 4.3"") that started having dead pixels after a few years. The old one was a bit smaller but the picture quality was better and it NEVER lit up for more than a split second when changing gears Using the same ESky rear camera, no setup changes except changing monitors.
