Not tested yet, bought for an upcoming trip to Denver for hiking and hot tub music, but tried it upon receipt and was impressed with the sound of this little fella. . I was *so* close to buying a JBL Clip 3 (I think that's what it's called) in the same product category, but the JBL was $80, saw the good reviews and decided to save a little. I wouldn't be surprised if the JBL unit had clearer sound, but for the price I'm impressed with both the volume and clarity of the sound. It's not hi-fi, but it wasn't bought with those expectations. As an ultra-portable Bluetooth speaker, waterproof (hopefully!) and durable, with mounting options (clip, suction cup), I honestly couldn't ask for more. I look forward to using it in the real world to test battery life and reliability.
