The pins are too small to fit tightly in the holes and therefore wobble when someone tries to thread the wire over them, resulting in sloppy loops of wire with no hope of reproduction leads the same. result twice. That's very disappointing. Now I have to go to a hardware store with a pegboard and find the right wire that fits right and cut my own pins. I would return it, but I don't want to drill as many holes in, say, a wooden board to insert the pins this thing came with. Of course, this also means that larger diameter pens are useless. I cannot recommend anyone to buy this item.
