Review on πŸ” Enhanced SEO: Fabtech FTS4130-7 3-Inch Spindle Kit for Toyota Tacoma by Mike Carter

Revainrating 1 out of 5

NOT GOOD. After some old-fashioned cutting of the front.

I installed a full set of 3 inch spindles on my Taco SR5 2000 5 lug. Multiple problems. Fabtech recommends 30x9.5 tires with 15x7 wheels with a maximum rear spacing of 3.75. After buying and installing on 4 West Covina bikes, the first problem was clearly visible. Spindles are more suited to the off-road Baha style. No spacers are required here. These spindles pushed the BFG AT 30x9.5 out 5 inches on both sides with only 1 inch of fender clearance at the top of the tire. NOT GOOD. After some old-fashioned trimming of the front bumper and wheel arches, we were able to release the right-left-hand drive. In an attempt to solve the 1" up and down gap friction problem, we found a compatible 1" coil spacer for this kit. It gave us an extra inch, but still not enough. It packs small dents at speeds in excess of 20 km/h. Not safe for any type of off-road at the moment. 4 Wheel Parts staff including management are well trained in sales but in this case they lacked product knowledge. The guys at 4 Wheel Parts couldn't fix the problem. Now let's get to the stern. For tough, but that's ok. The distance has increased by 3 inches. So, with my 2,350.00 in the register, they let me drive the truck home. I have about 65 days of warranty left, I'm sure they will sort it out when I get back to the store. In general, I'm optimistic. The details are well put together. it just doesn't fit into the routine. Too bad because the truck looks cool.
