Having read some bad reviews recently I was forced to state the reason. How is it the part's fault and not your fault that you're short or have the wrong style ladder to help you? people are funny. The problem with this extender is that it comes with rubber washers that are about as strong as a sponge. Had to visit ACE to purchase a stiffer shim and all is well. When I first installed it, which literally took 3 minutes, it wasn't my first rodeo with a wrench or teflon tape. BTW, it comes bundled with some, so don't buy more. Anyway when I put everything together the wall mount pipe bracket was loose and turned slightly, I quickly concluded it was the wrong washer - disassembled and yes. The washer was so soft it had already sunk into the tube. comes out of the wall. I went to ACE, bought a branded washing machine - no problems. It's sad they can't spend the extra $0.01 to ship the washing machine in the right style. 4 stars because of that. If he had better (usable) pucks that would be 5 stars. The product itself is just great!
