I bought this for my chihuahua which is a size xs. I measured my dog before buying. However, I had problems with the adjustment. I had to adjust it down to the smallest detail and the Pawtitas rubber tag was probably blocking the last two inches of the collar. I had to take a pair of tweezers and carefully remove the rubber tag so I could fully attach it. As soon as I did it, it fitted. Dimensions listed include a rubber strap that cannot be threaded through the adjustment buckle.
