The product definitely removed some noise but didn't eliminate it. I have an odd situation in my car that requires ground isolation, so to speak. I don't use my phone's aux cable like most people, but instead use a Bluetooth FM radio transmitter, which even at low volume gets a pretty obnoxious alternator whistling through the stereo. This product reduced the noise level by about 60-70% but it was not a permanent solution to the problem. Installation wasn't difficult at all, but finding the right wiring diagram is important to knowing which wire will switch to 12v so you can add it to your existing wiring harness.
