circlips appeared and worked as they should. The size is correct for the three I've used so far. The backup tong holes were not burred or irregularly shaped. It looks like they will fit snugly into the bottom of the snap ring groove and hold the bearing in place. My bad rating for the presentation was because I found that the lid of the jar was warped and allowed most of the locking ring to move into the larger slots and it was difficult to get it back into the correct slot. I need to keep the container upright or they won't be in the right place to match the layout. All in all I would buy again. Bean
