After 1.5 years, ALL ear pads fell apart at the seams in the trash. I did not expect this from Sennheiser ! (I am adding after 1.5 years of operation). Due to the low quality of materials and sound (taste) - I do not recommend buying! To record the voice, I took headphones with a microphone from Sennheiser, model GSP 301. Before that, there were Sennheiser hd 215 headphones. These headphones do not play well on the built-in sound card. Of course, they will work, but the sound is somehow unsaturated, and the speakers themselves “do not swing” (as if there is not enough sound volume). But when the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum EX external sound card was installed, the Sennheiser GSP 301 headphones opened up and played with new sounds. As it turned out, the headphones have an increased return in the low-frequency region. Personally, when listening to music, I did not like it. Perhaps because of the habit of listening to music in the Sennheiser hd 215. I did not like the cable (see disadvantages). Now, if you make it like the hd 215 model (with a spiral) or just smooth, it would be cool. The microphone cannot be brought closer or further away, but the short microphone holder is well made - there is almost no effect of breathing on speech clarity. The sound is written loudly, without clicks and cod. In general, the headphones are suitable for games, streaming, voice acting and listening to music (if the bass reproduction feature does not scare you). Took on the action for 4400r.
