The trick is to find the perfect strap length. This may require some tweaking, but once you get it right everything will work great. Cup holders don't do the job very well but sometimes work and the paddle holder doesn't hold up. The velcro used to close the paddle straps is reversed so that the paddle applies too much pressure causing the strap to come loose and the paddle to fall off. As expected, the carrying function of the board is good.
