I'm in a social media group for people who have the same dog breed as me and they convinced me to switch to this leash I've been using a retractable leash for years but needed something to get the big one better control of the dog we just adopted. That works great. I like that there is a place to grab near where the leash connects to the harness (or leash) so you can quickly get the dog under control if needed. However, my favorite feature is that the part you hold can be detached and expanded and then fastened back around the waist, allowing you to walk your dog hands-free when carrying something. It also looks pretty strong. I am very happy with it.
