while it works fine.

It's been about a week, I drive a lot, so there are a lot of kilometers on the solenoid valve. Tip: Replace the valve coil shield on the front of the engine when replacing the Vtec solenoid. Do not use 5w30 on K-series engines even if they have high mileage. I have 240k on a CRV and still only use 0w20 or 5w20 synthetics. I saw a review where someone said just use a thicker oil. No, do not use thicker oil. I've been a mechanic for over 30 years and Honda is usually unlucky with parts but so far so good for this solenoid! *UPDATE* Took 2 weeks then failed, they offered a refund or replacement but I forgot to return it by the due date. Bought a factory solenoid from Honda for $166.
