Nothing wrong with this switch so far unless Zigbee is a protocol your home automation doesn't support. It's small, has an adhesive backing if you want to stick it anywhere, uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, and works with Home Assistant (HA). My Home Assistant setup uses the HUSBZB-1 USB stick, which provides both Zigbee and Z-Wave radios, and this switch works very well with them. You won't see anything other than the device's battery in the HA item list, which is fine. However, the object must report the battery level percentage. In HA, the actual keypress is a TRIGGER to do something else, e.g. B. turn on a light. In my setup one of these little switches is used to control a dimmer switch connected to an old lamp. I set up a single press to turn on and off, a double press to turn on full brightness, and a long press to dim to the desired level. Just use your imagination and it becomes a versatile little gadget.
