The name says it all. The camera opens a WiFi hotspot that has no password and is not encrypted. The camera itself is passwordless and ANYONE within range can connect and view the live feed and the recordings on the memory card. I'm not sure why anyone would need this in his or her home? It's 2021 and password AND encryption should be standard. I have emailed support and will update the review once I receive a reply. Although I cannot recommend this camera to anyone. I'm not even sure why there isn't a review mentioning this. Camera to connect the camera to the Internet. It's even worse because now ANYONE on the internet can connect to the camera. The person doesn't even have to be close enough to you. Stay away.
