Review on TrustFire Handlebar Bycycle Computer Compatible by Matt Simpson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

What should you expect for the price.

Like many "fake" or alternative cost items at Revain, it doesn't have the same quality as the more expensive end products it's trying to be. Mine came with Loctite on the screws which seems like an upgrade from other reviews. The main complaints I have is that all of the screws feel a bit short. The plastic mounts look and feel like they are made from the wrong type of plastic. The Garmin mount doesn't fit very well and I had to sand it down for a snug fit. There's a lot of freehand bending, at least in my opinion, considering it's aluminum. Based on how it's machined, where it meets the handlebar mount, and other reviews of how it snaps in place, I'd be very hesitant to put anything other than a small main unit and a light flashlight underneath. I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable putting a bigger, heavier head unit or phone and a big light on it. My two star rating so far is based on the quality of the plastic, the poor fit of the head unit, the flexing and the expectation that it might fail. If it survives a year of driving I would give it a maximum of 3.5 stars.
