This is an OEM at an incredible price. Great Brother quality, great price especially when compared to local ones. Some other color lasers had drums that were so expensive that it was easier to throw out the printer and buy a new one. That is exactly what is needed. I usually keep an eye on HP printers, but my last two Brother color laser printers have been great and cheap to run. We print a lot, especially in color, since we study at home according to the classic model and meet with other like-minded families to learn together, discuss, simulate the process.
