I find this very useful, but the tool has limitations. First, retractable "locators" move too easily. They need to be more solid so they stay in place once placed. Of course, having a built-in bubble level is brilliant. Stupid, I always thought that this tool only works really well when you're hanging items on a big wall. The length of the level (3 feet) does not allow it to be used on partial walls or alcoves. Lesson learned. I still find it useful in large wall areas. B&D - Need some improvements to make this a 5 star tool. 1. Tighter fit of locators (as previously mentioned). A smaller overall length with the possibility of extension would be ideal because it could then be used in many other situations.
