I had a blown fuse in the AC when it was about 90F outside.
It just works. So far no problems. Has worked for my air conditioner for 6 months with no problems. They are hard to find in stores, I called about 6 stores and none of them stocked a 12 amp amp. I suggest you stock up and get some spares and have them on hand. In my case I blew a fuse in my AC when it was about 90F outside, not a good scenario, I'm glad I have spares now.
