Some tips are sharp, others are more blunt, even the same size.

&lt;EDIT&gt;After I wrote this review, the company kindly approached me with an offer to either refund my money or send me a new set of needles. I decided to get a new set of needles in hopes of improvement. The needles are not noticeably different from what I got the first time. I would still say that they are ok for the price. In fact, you get a lot of needles for a good price. But don't overestimate your expectations. These are not $80 needles so don't expect to get $80 quality for $7.99, that's not what you get. The beauty is that you can rest assured that the company stands by their product and will refund your money if you don't like what you get. Worth a try.&lt;/EDIT&gt;Ok for the price. Some are twisted. Some nibs are pointed, others are more blunt even at the same size, for example my 6mm nib is pointed and the other is much smaller. Finishes vary, some are smoother than others. BUT for the price you can't complain much.

Pros

SMOOTH AND LIGHT. One of the main advantages of using one of these sets of needles is that they are completely different from metal hooks. They are smoother and lighter which is ideal for those suffering from joint pain as they require less tension and come with a comfortable thumb rest. The quality and feel of wood is always highly appreciated by knitting and crochet lovers!
