Review on 🚲 Topeak The Mini Plus: Your Ultimate 18-Function Bicycle Tool by Abdirahman Elmer

I love this tool. I've had all the usual glitches, flat surfaces, broken chain, seat and handlebar adjustments, derailleur limit screw adjustment, and everything worked perfectly. The chain breaker is quite powerful for 4 times I've used it on the side of the road and never had a problem. It takes a little time to unscrew and get it working, but it's such a cool, compact design that I hardly notice how long it's taking because I'm too busy thinking about how awesome the design is is. The leverage from the tires is adequate, but I wouldn't want to fight with that alone against a REALLY stubborn tire. All bits are strong and the entire tool is lightweight and very compact. The only two places it didn't help me was in the aero seat post, the seat bolt was tucked too far into the post for the small Allen wrench to reach. The other was with a connecting bolt on a set of loose cranks. They use a #10 hex bit and need a long extension. This tool doesn't have either, but it's not exactly what you need in a mini tool anyway. It might not replace all of your shop tools, but it's simple and efficient, small and light enough to pack in a small saddlebag to be assured of all your major and some not-so-major roadside repairs being fixed. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my alternative road bike saddlebag.
