The first impression is good. The device is easy to install and allows me to use the 8x slot of my x99 system, but does not fully support 8 PCI lanes. I have 2 x 1TB PNY 2030 drives installed and the CDM shows 3500Mb/s read and 2700Mb/s write when used alone. If you run CDM on both drives at the same time, you will get 2000 reads and 1700 writes on both drives. Raid 0 delivers 3700 read speed and 3300 write speed, which is acceptable for me at the moment. Will end up being used as a cache drive in a non-raid setup and will therefore be updated depending on how things go.
