Background: We came from K2 skates and they were bought for a 14 year old to use at an ice rink. Bearings: The wheels DO NOT spin freely compared to K2s – flip them over and spin them, you expect them to spin FURTHER. You are not. Poor stock quality. Comfort: After the first use, my son was left with a large area of missing skin on the arch of his left foot. I gave him my K2s that afternoon and ridden them - I could feel the rough plastic ridge in the arch of the left skate chafing the arch. Very disappointing - unforgivable. I probably should have sent them back (and thought about it), but I was too lazy. I have several drs. Scholls to solve the problem with comfort. Hopefully they're good enough to help him get through the few times a year we all go skating.
