I have used various versions of the Britta pitcher for over twenty years and this one is without a doubt a waste of money - and water! When filling, water comes out of the handle. When I try to pour water, the ridiculous design of the spout causes water to splash everywhere but not where I want it. I was thrilled when I finally found a jug big enough that I didn't have to refill it several times a day, but it wastes too much and makes a huge mess.
