I went out and bought this tire and switched out my shoes right away. The first thing that popped into my mind was how supple the rubber is. After the oak summer fluttered along the road, breaking all the regulations at the four corners, the change was noticeable. The quiet seemed almost summerlike. Several times when fresh snow fell, I tried it out on the snow, doing drifts and accelerating in a circle; the rubber maintained its radius and there were no drifts. Even though I haven't checked the ice yet, I expect the ABS to work normally here. Before that, I had my eye on the DUNLOP Winter Sport Velcro, which boasted three seasons of use from a single rubber compound, but it was out of stock and cost more than $5,000. I decided to go with this brand-new offering, and I have no regrets thus far.
