We have Canon binoculars with image stabilization and the original Canon case leaves a lot to be desired including opening, closing and protection. This case is very good and fits our 12x 36 IS II perfectly. I even cut out the metal Canon logo from the original case and carefully and securely attached it to the new case. It's turned out great and looks exactly how Canon should have made it from the start.
