Good - Excellent fitting! It is designed with a good range of motion and the locking knobs on each hinge allow the user to lock it at the right angle. There is one downside and one aspect to the "could be better" faucet: The downside is that the faucet can't position the phone holder under the base. Opportunity - The design of the telescopic arm will increase the market for this product. The sticky pad and suction cup didn't make contact in the heat and cold of the southern January day. This made me suspect that it would not survive the temperature swings found in more extreme climates. Ugliness - the included "powered" phone holder. Does NOT charge the phone. The opening mechanism is slower and less sensitive than non-powered phone holders. The phone holder is USABLE, just less effective than its competitors. Options - Using a drill and some screws/lock washers/nuts ($3.31) to install the base of this product ($24) into the mounting point, I used BuiltRight Industries. Dash mount already installed for other purposes makes this work. Replacing the phone holder part with a mechanical one from the old system made it the best phone holder system I have ever had.
