Great for video but doesn't return audio at all.
Video works well for everything except Dolby Vision HDR which is claimed, so no complaints. The problem is that the sound isn't actually sent back to the amp whether ARC or optical is used. I took the extender out of the equation to make sure my TV and amp would handle it properly, and they do. Ideal ARC audio and optical audio in this scenario. By putting the expander back into the equation, all sounds are gone, regardless of configuration (ARC or SPDIF). Too bad. I'm waiting for an email from the company to see if I've missed anything. Will update if I ever get it working.
