I installed it today and it was a bit of a hassle, the box doesn't fit well in the dashboard because it doesn't waste a lot of space. I watched the chip tech video and followed their instructions because the ones included were pretty bad. For my 15 X5 with nbt I didn't need to connect any auxiliary cable or microphones which is amazing. I was afraid the box wouldn't fit in the dashboard, which I really had to squeeze into. I'm sure I moved the USB cable a bit, but oh well. Experience: Does exactly what it should. It launches CarPlay when your iPhone is connected (I connected it via USB). It plays music through the aux setup ALSO, ALTHOUGH YOU DON'T NEED TO CONNECT A PHYSICAL AUX CABLE and your factory mics are used for phone calls. In general very satisfied. Will be updated if something breaks. Note: Vehicles with NBT do NOT need to connect an auxiliary cable or microphone. Please do your research before asking if this is the right fit.
