I have tried this device on two cars and found it to work very well. The link ball holds my Garmin nüvi 2460 very securely. On my 2008 Volvo 70V it fits best with the tension screw down, while on my 2013 Hyundai Azera it needs the screw up to hold it securely and it is a bit wobbly because the hole for the CD is cut. higher at the top than at the bottom. I've ridden across the train tracks and it stays in place. In Azer it interferes a little with some control buttons but it will work. I built the navigation on Azer, but it is bad and the data is already out of date.
