I restore antiques and I always have a shop full of items, so I have to move items around all the time. I figured since the workshop surface is smooth they would get the job done, but I was wrong. I put them under the Duncan Phyfe sofa but they kept slipping out from under the sofa, I attributed this to the sofa having an unusual shape of the legs. I then tried them under the straight legs of a chair with a headrest and again they slipped out when I tried to move it. The only way to make them work is to put the board on 2 casters and then put the furniture on it. Unfortunately, they didn't work as I expected.
