If you are a cold brewer this is for you. It's really very compact and VERY easy to use. This was my first time making a cold drink and here are my results: 1. I didn't know how many beans were in it (2-2.5 times the normal amount for regular brewed coffee). They use coarse grains and pour them into a black container with the grains.2. You use 24 ounces of water (the dot on the glass carafe indicates 12 ounces)3. Put on the rain cover before pouring water and then put it on top. That's all it takes.4. Coffee is brewed in a black container (12-24 hours on the table and longer in the fridge). Once it's brewed enough, place the black container on top of the glass carafe and it will run in for storage. Using the full amount of water gives you 16 ounces of coffee concentrate (5-7 cups of cold brew coffee). It was very easy to use and so compact that it doesn't take up much counter or fridge space. It's also easy to travel with if you wish!
