The smoothest, easiest cold brew system I've ever used

The genius is that it's so darn easy to use and produces great results. my experience with the Hario Cold Brew System, a French Press and good old cheesecloth in a can. The acidity in coffee, both hot and cold brew, usually ruins me. So far there are no problems with what it produces. Simply fill the beans to the line that looks like beans and add water through the perforated top. A coarse grind is recommended, but I've had coffee shop-level results when using a pear grind.

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • No Insurance

Misleading coffee machine size

The upper brewing container is significantly larger than the lower collection container. If you are brewing a batch close to the capacity of the brew jug, the glass jug will overflow. I was hoping I could cook a batch and then leave them unattended in the catch bin. Luckily I checked it before it spilled. I like to do batches that start at 910 grams (31 ounces of water). A brew pot can handle this volume. However, the result is more coffee than fits in the jug. The instructions include a recipe

Great compact design and very easy to use!

If you are a cold brewer this is for you. It's really very compact and VERY easy to use. This was my first time making a cold drink and here are my results: 1. I didn't know how many beans were in it (2-2.5 times the normal amount for regular brewed coffee). They use coarse grains and pour them into a black container with the grains.2. You use 24 ounces of water (the dot on the glass carafe indicates 12 ounces)3. Put on the rain cover before pouring water and then put it on top. That's all it…

Pros
  • Cover covers and protects coffee maker while brewing
Cons
  • Sorry device

Good but prone to human error

I've used this a few times and it's a good product but with flaws. It's very easy to use, just add coarse coffee grounds (I use half the amount recommended in the instructions) and add 24 ounces of water. I leave it in the fridge for 15-24 hours depending on how strong you want the concentrate to be. The taste is good and mild, but depends on the coffee grounds used. In addition, it is very compact, which is good that it does not take up much space and is not high. To disadvantages. Although it

Pros
  • Compact size takes up less countertop and fridge space
Cons
  • Almost never

Not perfect, but is there anything in this world?

There is currently an issue with Cold Brew. There's a rapidly closing gap between the taste and value of homemade and store-bought. Remember, a long time ago the only place you could get a cold drink was at a hipster cafe near downtown (the one with good music and a tip jar with a funny sign). That being said you had no choice but to make it yourself and because it wasn't common you basically made a super crappy toddy style system using a Home Depot bucket and gauze because you didn't know what

Pros
  • Rainmaker distributes water evenly over coffee grounds
Cons
  • Everything is fine
