I did a practice run on a spare length of cable and was able to strip the coax cable like a charm. When I went to the length of cable that needed the replacement end and tried again, I heard a crack from inside the tool and it no longer grips the cable making it impossible to make a good cut. I tried looking at the tool to see what broke, but didn't see anything obvious. I finally used a set of wire strippers to strip the cable and then used the compression tool to secure the new end. The compression tool worked great and is not a one and done tool like the stripper. For 'Easy to use' I give it one star because the stripping tool was so bad it far outweighed the ease of the compression tool, it was easy the one time the stripping tool worked. 'Value for money', it was inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for. 'Durability', see comments above.
