Review on πŸ”Œ Jagwire Mountain Pro Quick-Fit Adapter for Shimano XTR978/XTB ANJO by Simo Whisperer

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This kit is obsolete. Depending on your brakes it will not fit the advertised kit of 2

This kit is obsolete. If you have a current Shimano Br-Rs785 road disc brake caliper and Shimano hydraulic levers you will need 2 of these kits as none of the Shimano components use a banjo. Only a Jagwire compression nut (and possibly a black rubber boot) is useful. You can buy 10 of these nuts off Amazon for $10 and buy the necessary bits at your local hardware store (or maybe find both). I see another Jagwire kit with compressor nuts on both ends, but it's not listed as made for Shimano. they have to fix it. Low rating because WAY overpriced and 2 brakes don't work. Update: The boot offers no end flex protection and won't stay in place making it unusable, especially with a very stiff and brittle Jagwire tube that failed after a few years of light use.
