Works perfectly! Fits Sport

This kit works great in combination with Hyflow brake lines. I mounted this on my 2012 XT brakes with no problems. Just follow the instructions and make sure you have access to the needle retraction tool.

Good replacement product

This product was purchased to replace a Shimano BH90 hydraulic hose that was leaking mineral oil at the hydraulic hose connection to the banjo. The quick coupler was easy to install with the universal Hy-Flow hydraulic hose. There are no leaks yet, brake pads and brake discs do not have to be replaced!

Good replacement for Shimano banjo cables

Shimano banjo cables could not be found as they seem to be out of production during the pandemic. i am ironic The Jagwire cable is a suitable replacement. More expensive, but because it's modular, the banjo fitting can be reused if the hose is damaged. The quality of the goods is very good. At first I didn't know how to set it up but once I realized it was very easy. The banjo fitting screws directly into the universal adapter.

Cons
  • Not all will fit

This kit is obsolete. If you have a current Shimano Br-Rs785 road disc brake caliper and Shimano hydraulic levers you will need 2 of these kits as none of the Shimano components use a banjo. Only a Jagwire compression nut (and possibly a black rubber boot) is useful. You can buy 10 of these nuts off Amazon for $10 and buy the necessary bits at your local hardware store (or maybe find both). I see another Jagwire kit with compressor nuts on both ends, but it's not listed as made for Shimano…
