I have to admit I've only compared 3 DMMs under $20 but this is one of the best deals I've reviewed or tested in my opinion. :one. Consistent accuracy across all scales/ranges compared to two much more expensive gauges (Tektronix DMM 870 and DMM 850), see Figure 2. Decent, durable case with a protective "rubber" cover to prevent breakage if dropped.3 . Fits well in the hand, feels great.4. Good clear display with backlight on/off.5. Probes are properly sheathed and properly labeled with safety categories.6. Best test tone of the three.7. Comfortable test tone (50 Hz square wave, rich in overtones) see fig. ideal for simple tests of audio circuits.8. A very unusually high megohm range is available. This is the only meter I have that accurately measures the resistance of a 100MΞ© resistor. see fig.9. The cheapest of the three meters I've compared. Bad: 1. Only one fuse, but that's one more than many cheap counters.2. No automatic shutdown. Even the most inexpensive measuring devices are missing. Ugly: Nothing to report here. very good meter!
