Deep dents on our factory mirrors

Shortly after installing these blind spot mirrors we had to take our vehicle to the dealer to file a recall. Without asking, the dealer put our car through an automatic car wash. I hand wash my car only to avoid swirls and scratches on the paintwork caused by dirt build up on the brushes that come in contact with the car in an automatic car wash. In addition, automatic car washes use harsh chemicals that can damage your car. After washing the car we found that the blind spot mirrors were no longer in place. They found her in the car wash. When the small blind spot mirrors were ripped off the car with brushes, the screws that attach/fix the blind spot mirror to the metal plate provided made deep gouges in the plastic. The factory black plastic mirror housings are both damaged and need to be replaced. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It is not worth. Get a kit that attaches to the mirror itself with glue. When it comes off, it doesn't hurt anymore.
