Works great as a simulated flame motor on my electric fireplace. Perfect for the original, sometimes works backwards but toggles on and off a few times and it goes forward. The original motor had variable DC speed, but froze and disabled power. The board needs repairs and the motor is $50. It was an inexpensive solution. Rebuilt for AC, no speed control like the DC motor, but the effect is just right.
