Good concept, poor execution
I had a similar knife that worked so well for many fruit and veg cutting jobs but it has seen better days. Finding a similar blade wasn't easy, so I was very excited to order it. Yes, the knife is sharp enough, but the ergonomics are terrible. The handle is made of an ultra-light material, so there is no "weight". This knife is not heavy at all. Very frustrating. Also, the blade is sharpened in such a way that you have to compensate for its tendency to cut sideways instead of straight down. I prefer my old knife, even with its duller blade.
