Review on πŸ”” Proline Bellhanger - Champion 8048 3 8X12 Model by Dre Bhatt

3/4 " x 18 " long is a great tool. Saved me hours of work.

OK. This is an overview of the exercise. Not very interesting, but there were a few features not mentioned for the 3/4" to 18" bit that are worth their weight in gold (and I ordered hoping they were there). 1. The shank width is less than 3/4 inch. The width of the cutting part of the drill is 3/4 inch, and the shank becomes narrower. It is beveled with 3 flat edges so it fits perfectly in the 1/2" chuck of my heavy duty corded drill (this is VERY important as most consumer handheld drills don't have 3/4" chucks). 2. It came with a nice plastic case to protect the bat. I used this bit to poke a 3/4" hole through some studs so I can run HDMI cables for my TV. I had a 1/2 bit but the HDMI cable head didn't fit. I had to cut the plastic head off one end of the HDMI cable to fit, but it was just a plastic reinforcement and I had enough slack for the ends of the cable to not bend under the farthest corners.

Pros
  • Twist drill
Cons
  • Long delivery
